I own a bunch of coins from around the world and even more fictional plastic and metal tokens. My favourites are the two brass bits from a limited fan-printing of Equestria-inspired coins. I also like the Charmander coin-flip token I got with a starter deck of Pokemon cards or something back when I was a little kid, but I prefer fake fictional currency over random tokens.
I may have started my non-legal-tender collection when I saved some Chuck. E. Cheese-style tokens as a kid and never ended up going back to wherever-it-was (maybe because it closed).
I want one of those coins! Crunchy Bunches merch would be rad.
Maybe some day!
Fictional coins and tokens are an instant SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! response for me.
Perhaps it’s because it feels like owning part of the world itself, you know?
Same here! I’m a bit of a coin collector, so it’s one of my favorite kinds of keepsakes.

Right in the feels…
An emblem of hope.
Just the kind of thing for stopping an apocalypse.
