Scout Cookies
It’s Cookie Season! That time of the year when eating your weight in cookies feels slightly more helpful to society.
Uh-oh, looks like it’s not just cookies now! I guess it’s review time!
Thin Mints Cereal: This one really hits the target flavor, only slightly toned down because it’s asking you to eat a whole bowl of it at once (unlike the cookies themselves, which are for eating a whole *box* of at a time). I can’t think of many minty cereals, so it’s a very unique thing. I’d give it a 8/10 merit badges in flavor profile duplication.
Caramel Crunch Cereal: The box implies these are based on Samoas, but I couldn’t detect any coconut flavor in there (or see it in the ingredients list). It’s really just caramel chocolate cereal, which is fine by me. That’s a surprisingly rare flavor for cereal, for some reason. I’d knock off points for it not really capturing Samoas that well, but I’m not a fan of those cookies anyway, and this ended up being my favorite of the two. 9/10 merit badges for filling a flavor void in the cereal isle.
Just wait till the Boy scouts fire back with their Popcorn Cereal! With real un-popped kernels in every bite!
